Pokémon 30th Celebration Release and Pre-Order Guide
Hikaru Distribution · September 12, 2026

Pre-ordering is simple once you know what each step commits you to. This guide covers the release date published on this store, what paying now actually does, and when a pre-ordered parcel leaves.
Release date
The Pokémon 30th Celebration range is listed here with a release date of 16 September 2026. The countdown on the Pokémon 30th Celebration page runs to that date, and it is the date every pre-order in the range is tied to.
If a listing in another part of the store shows a different date, that listing's date is the one that applies to it — dates are held per product, not per article.
What a pre-order is in this store
A pre-order is a normal, fully paid order for a product that has not been released yet.
- You pay now. Any 30th Celebration listing that shows a price can be added to the cart and paid for immediately, exactly like an in-stock item.
- It ships on or after release. Pre-ordered items are prepared once the product is released, not before.
- Nothing is reserved without payment. Allocation follows paid orders.
Listings marked Price on request have no published price and cannot be bought online. For those, use the contact action on the listing or email support@hikarudistributions.com and we will quote you.
Why pay before release
The honest answer is allocation. Anniversary sets are produced in a finite first wave, and the products most likely to sell out early — the premium collections and the Japanese display — are also the ones hardest to restock at the original price afterwards. Paying now converts "I would like one" into a queued, funded order.
If you would rather not commit yet, that is a perfectly reasonable position. Nothing about a pre-order is compulsory, and the range will also be sold after release while stock lasts.
Mixed orders: pre-order plus in-stock
If you want items that are already available to reach you before release, the safest approach is to order them separately from the pre-order. If you have already combined them in one order and want to know how it will be handled, contact us and we will confirm before it is prepared.
Delivery and returns
Delivery methods, destinations and the current processing information are on the delivery page. The return conditions, including the statutory withdrawal period, are on the returns page — we would rather you read the actual policy than a summary in an article.
Changing or cancelling a pre-order
If your pre-order has not shipped, contact us and we can amend or cancel it. Once a parcel has been delivered, the standard return conditions on the returns page apply.
What to order
If you are still deciding between formats, the two companion guides do that work:
- Pre-order guide: booster boxes, ETBs, UPCs and bundles — which sealed format suits which collector.
- M6a buying guide: sealed display vs single cards — whether to open product or buy the exact card.
- Card list and rarities — what is inside a booster.
Everything currently open for pre-order across the store is listed on the Pokémon pre-orders page.
Common questions

Can I cancel before it ships? Contact us while the order is still unshipped and we will amend or cancel it.
