Our Commitment to the Environment
At HIKARU, we know that our online sales activity can have an impact on the planet, and we want to do our part to protect it. That's why we have implemented several actions to limit our ecological footprint.
1. Less packaging
We are careful to reduce as much as possible the packaging we use to send your orders. We favor recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials, and we avoid plastic as much as possible. Our packages are also optimized in size to avoid transporting air unnecessarily and reduce our carbon footprint. We sometimes reuse old boxes (like the boxes from Asmodée cases) or reuse bubble wrap.
2. Eco-friendly delivery
We mainly use Mondial Relay as a carrier for our shipments. In addition to being more flexible for the majority of customers, the carbon footprint of delivery to a relay point is lower than home delivery.
3. Better managed returns
Returns can be a major source of waste. That's why we try to limit them by offering you ultra-detailed product descriptions and a well-protected first shipment so that your order arrives in perfect condition.
